I would play an improvised chord resolution exercise to relax my kids before they went to bed. I fell upon a few chords that I liked, so festooned it into this broken beat drum "n" bass jazz extravaganza. I spent way too much time on this track as, the recording, mixing, computer problems and producing process has meant I have heard it over and over and over again. I now despise this track. I think I was trying to find something in the track that was not there or I was not adept enough to bring out of it. I was looking for it's essence, it's true meaning. So rather than coming out with a bonafide classic like Opus' Life is Life. I was left with Joe Dolce's Shaddap you face. Hopefully without the casual racism and stereotyping of Italian mothers. I realise I am not selling it and aware that you will have a completely different take on this track. Enjoy.
